Charlie Manson was an artist,

made collages with humans.

Jim Morrison was a murderer,

killed himself with Heroin.

Do you think he really died?

Or just learned how to live without moving?

I learned to move without living,

to love without telling,

to dance without thinking,

to write without meaning,

to be a spectacle.

Is prison where bad people go

or where good people avoid?

You never hear about Morrison’s family,

Except when he talks about killing them.

You always hear about the Manson family

and their horrific art.

Marilyn Manson is the combination of Charlie, Jim.

He is a spectacle.

I never understood him as a kid

and never understood myself as an adult.
