Usually you can tell by observing the seller's demeanor.
One man sits quietly while i flip through his books with unmarked prices,
a dictionary, a children's book with 1970's artwork inside,
books titled: Dealing with Depression, Adults from Abusive Parents.
Another family nervously laughs at my mediocre jokes as they sell their mother's things directly out of her bedroom and kitchen.
She "moved out."
I bought her antique slide projector for 5 dollars.
One woman has trained her kids to sell the broken piano and nickle lemonade.
She tells me her couch loves me.
I tell her, I love it.
A friend buys a mini-horse-statue for a quarter and we leave shortly after.
